This book is designed to be used as a companion volume to The Life of Oyasama, Foundress of Tenrikyo--Manuscript Edition. In the first section of this book, the Glossary, the page and line numbers following each term indicate the location of the term in the third English edition of The Life of Oyasama, published on January 26, 1996. Likewise, the page numbers following the entries in the third section of this book, the Chronological Index, indicate the locations of the corresponding passages in the same edition.
